But it is not possible to treat the underlying anxiety alone.Electrical connectors of this kind are generally known and are used for joining circuits of printed circuit boards, for example, in order to transfer signals between the circuits. In particular, this type of electrical connector serves for connecting contact elements of a first circuit, for example a mother board, to contact elements of a second circuit, for example a daughter board. In this case, the contact elements are usually constructed as contact pins which are inserted into a corresponding contact receptacle of the other circuit.
Usually, the contact receptacle of the circuit is disposed on a so-called socket, in which the contact pins of the circuit are respectively inserted.
In this case, the contact elements can be connected to one another in a plug-in or push-in way, so that the contact elements are able to be connected to one another only after the insertion of the contact pins of the circuit into the corresponding contact receptacle of the other circuit.
However, due to the constantly increasing number of circuits, the length of the connecting lines of the circuits increases, so that also the lengths of the contact elements decrease, so that the insertion forces required for inserting the contact pins of the circuits into the corresponding contact receptacles of the other circuit rise.
Consequently, it is often impossible to insert the contact elements in a conventional way into the contact receptacle of the other circuit due to the high insertion forces required for the insertion. In this case, it is no longer possible to insert the contact elements in a plug-in or push-in way into the corresponding contact receptacle of the other circuit.
In order to avoid this, it is therefore necessary to reduce the insertion forces, which are respectively required for inserting the contact pins of the circuit into the corresponding contact receptacles of the other circuit, so that the contact elements can be inserted in a conventional way into the contact receptacles of the other circuit and can be connected to one another there in a plug-in or push-in way.
